Events
PACE - Monmouth holds several events during the year that brings together a
broader segment of the PACE community. These events are described briefly below.
Kwanzaa Celebration
This is a PACE celebration commerating the African American holiday. It is held
on the afternoon of the last Saturday of the fall semester. There is food and
much of the entertainment is provided by the students.
Open House
In the spring semester, PACE holds an
open house to give prospective student and
staff a chance to see what goes on in PACE. Guests go from class to class as they wish
to observe, get involved, and ask questions.
Often, current students demonstrate projects they have done.
Awards and Graduation Banquet
The annual
Awards and Graduation Banquet celebrates the accomplishments of the
PACE - Monmouth students. It is held on a Saturday afternoon in May, just after the end of
the PACE year.
